Ideal location in the city centre, very nice decoration, and the must a swimming pool with shower, perfect for relaxing in the evening after a day of cycling.

Hotel more than adequate, pleasant staff and clean rooms. The geographical location of the hotel was very comfortable, located close to a parking lot and close to all shops. Then the heated, very well maintained swimming pool was a real plus.

Excellent quality price, hotel very well located in the centre of Noirmoutier-en-lÎle. The pool is very nice. The comfortable room and the hotel is very quiet. Weekend in Noirmoutier-en-lîle in July

We really enjoyed our stay at this hotel, it’s a delight! Perfectly situated on a quiet street, opposite the castle. 
The decor is interesting, very French and you can tell that some thought has been put into it. 
Our room was spacious enough for 4 nights with a comfortable bed and although advertised as a bath only, we were pleased that there was a decent shower over the bath. 
The family that run the hotel were super helpful, they went out of their way to get us into restaurants when we couldn’t get reservations. 
Breakfast buffet was lovely, plenty of mini croissants and pain au chocolat with a range of jam. Lovely crepes with delicious, hot, home made caramel, cereals, eggs and cold meats etc. 
The small pool was a great way to cool off after a hot day exploring the town, we had it to ourselves for a good hour. 
The hotel is minutes away from the market, shops and restaurants so ideal location. 
Sadly no air con, this is an old building and it’s not permitted. We used our own fan which we’d bought with us and the hotel welcomed this.

The only slight issues that we had were:
No water in the room, we’d have really liked a bottle or two after our 4 hour drive. There were herbal teas though. 
A set of drawers instead of the desk would have been much more practical!
There is no parking, unless you pay (can’t remember the actual cost but it was expensive). We were advised to park about 10-15 minutes away, which we did and didn’t mind the walk. In high season tho, this could be a problem. 

Don’t let these issues put you off, it’s really worth staying here. We looked at the location of some of the other hotels in the price range and this was by far the best!

Tips: for longer stays, get a room with a terrace overlooking the pool. 
Research and book restaurants in advance, we were there the week before high season and struggled to find anywhere that wasn’t fully booked!
If you don’t mind the parking problem, I’d recommend this hotel as a great base to discover beautiful Noirmoutier-en-l’Île.

A delight!

I think the hyper negative reviews are old, before the hotel was renovated. We spent 2 nights in the family suite with terrace and view of the castle: extra. Excellent welcome. The hotel was completely renovated with gout. Exceptional frame in front of the castle 50m from the port, shops, cafes, restaurants... very clean rooms, cosi, beach theme. Comfortable bed.

What a wonderful stay

We spent two nights in the hotel at the end of November, and we will have a great memory of this stay, a coquette room, an excellent breakfast, a friendly reception, and a very good location.

pleasant stay

We have been coming to the castle island for several years, sometimes with friends, always with great pleasure. We have been attracted by the warm welcome and decoration. The staff is very professional and enthusiastic. The rooms are pleasant, the swimming pool very pleasant, the breakfast well provided. The view of the castle illuminated in the evening is beautiful from the large terrace of the hotel. Immediate proximity to shops, restaurants and the pier. Excellent price ratio. I absolutely recommend!!!!

The pictures on the site had nothing to do with what the hotel was like, it had to go. The room was well exposed but the household was not top, dust and spider webs. Curtains broke, no soap in the bathroom and I'm passing by. Despite everything, we were offered tea and it was nice. The balcony was almost impractical due to vegetation, and bags on the doorstep. Piluine announced at 30°C but 19/20°C would have been accurate and no pedves. As for the breakfast reception, there was no goodbye. For the rental of a bike, it was impossible to go in the hotel as it was, we didn't have to go back to the hotel (and unfortunately we didn't ask to leave the hotel).

Totally Disappointed

The room is very nice is nice A very convenient location because the hotel is in the center of Noirmoutier and is 30 minutes walk from the beach (I recommend renting bicycles!!! According to the room, we hear everything that happens next to the pool and in the upper rooms Super nice staff and little care Attention to parking!!!! Very difficult to find a place (all parking lots are paid and armored!!!
