B&B Le Garric

Husband, teenage daughter and I stayed at Le Garric in August and I'm sorry it's taken this long to write a review. Josephine was a lovely, gracious hostess and welcomed us to her family home. We stayed on the first floor and our "mini apartment" consisted of a huge main bedroom, separate bedroom for our daughter (much to her delight), lovely bathroom and a huge balcony with lovely views. It was very hot when we visited and the tiled floors and large rooms kept the room cool and the fabulous swimming pool was a delightful bonus! Josephine provided a magnificent breakfast every morning - we sat outside at a large table with other guests from Holland, Belgium, Germany and France - superb company. Food was delicious - all locally sourced, Josephine's home made preserves - fig, apricot and strawberry were incredible - in fact out of this world. Fantastic array of breads, croissants, pastries, local honey, excellent coffee and fresh fruit from the garden. Our only disappointment was that we had not booked to eat an evening meal - the other guests told us it was incredible - with wine and beautifully prepared and presented by Josephine and her son. The location was excellent - peaceful, yet still close enough to drive into Nimes. We had a very relaxing and refreshing stay and would definitely stay again.
