The hosts sent us GPS coordinates, which led us to their restored 19th century priest quarters.

The priests are long gone and in their place, are two of the most welcoming hosts that you are going to find. 

The residence takes you back to a period long ago. Absolutely stunning. There is ample secure parking. Our room on the second floor was very clean and roomy. The shower is one of the best we have encountered in France. (Important for us North Americans) Saskia was able to assist us with recommendations on what to see in the area.

The lovely hosts, Saskia and Martin were extremely helpful, warm and friendly. The breakfast was delicious. The garden is stunning and a wonderful place to relax. The location is peaceful, and Saskia and Martin make it feel a relaxing 'home from home'. It was lovely to be able to wander around the hamlet and chat to Le Prieure's friendly pets. Definitely a place to recommend if you love France and the stunning countryside - with chateau, markets and a whole host of places to visit on the doorstep.

From the moment we were greeted at the door by Martin and Saskia, the owners and hosts of this beautiful bed and breakfast, we felt at home.  The room that we were given was huge by French standards, actually by any standard, and had a fireplace, chairs, a desk and a very comfortable King size bed.  The bathroom was totally remodeled and had a large shower.  The floors were beautiful wood floors and the ceilings were high.  We stayed 3 nights and each morning were greeted with a smile and greeting from Saskia and a wonderful light breakfast.  The property is well maintained, has a pool, gardens, many outside sitting areas and its own chapel.  The property is located out of the main town and is quiet and peaceful, just what you need after a long day of sightseeing.  Both Martin and Saskia were extremely helpful in suggesting itineraries and places to dine.  We would stay here again when visiting the area.  Absolutely perfect.....

Our hosts, Martin and Saskia, were absolutely delightful and it really felt as though we were popping in to see friends rather than paying guests.  The house is fantastic and the room was beautiful overlooking the huge garden where comfy loungers were dotted around and there was also a refreshing pool.  Parking was just outside the gate and it was all in a really quite, out of the way lane so perfect for getting away from it all.  The breakfasts were lovely and very informal.  They do have a large, incredibly friendly, dog so be aware if you are nervous of them, though she was completely daft and I can't imagine her becoming a problem.  A wonderful stay and I would have happily have stayed there all week.

Second time here.Such a wonderful place to stay whether in the B&B or in one of the gites.The first time we stayed in the family room overlooking the pool and wished we had booked in for longer because it is so beautiful here.The second time,Sept 3rd to 10th 2016 were were in the Pavillon gite for one week.Absolutely wonderful stay.Didn't want to leave.So nice that we have already booked for two weeks next year! Thank you  Saskia & Martin for a lovely stay.(I promise that it won't take me so long to use the pool next year!) And Saskia.....your Fig and Ginger marmalade is fabulous.We have only been home 4 days and it has almost gone!
