Within easy reach of the Ferries and the Coast, we were met with comfort, and such a welcome! The Shelder hotel is an oasis for weary travellers. Cosy rooms, bright decor and bountiful breakfasts topped up by the attentive staff so there was plenty. The hosts could not do enough to help, we stayed for one night on our way to Falaise and one night on the way back home. We ordered 2 platters for lunch, not realising they were so large and fresh, and mirrored the quality of the breakfast. Cannot recommend highly enough.
