B&B HOTEL Cherbourg

Great value for the price, very convenient amenities, and dining options. Breakfast was good. The staff was accommodating.

The wonderful lady managing reception & breakfast single handed deserves a special mention - she was very kind and helpful and  nothing was to much trouble.

This was a surprise, this B&B was a lot better than similar hotel chains. A good bathroom, breakfast included cooked eggs and bacon. Multiple usable power sockets. This will now be my hotel chain of choice.

We arrived on a Friday evening for a friends birthday party close by. 
The rooms are small but perfectly adequate, with a great and comfortable bed, central heating, a great shower and good breakfast, perfectly located for the ferry in Cherbourg. I would use this chain again. 

Check in and accommodation was very good - room a little warm but for a quick stop over was perfectly adequate and handy - Have had breakfast here before and it was good also - this time we just continued our journey

For a budget hotel in france the breakfast was a good standard.

Hotel was clean and fresh.  Next door to diners, so very easy.  Also very close to major routes out of Cherbourg.

Hoyel was good value for money, good rooms, good breakfast. Our only problem was trying to book in when reception was unmanned. Very complicated and card reader failed when we finally got auto check in to work. Fortunately the receptionist arrive and book the rest if my party on.

Very reasonable price for the room. The breakfast was very nice and it was great to have free parking especially as we had motorbikes.

Motel style hotel close to the city and ferry port. Good restaurant next door and across the road from the Auchan Hypermarket.
Automated check-in, wi-fi and decent self service breakfast.
Not attractive to look at but functional, efficient and good value.

We stayed here for 2 nights and the hotel has some good points - free parking including Blue Badge parking, free WiFi and is very convenient to Cherbourg Centre, shopping and car ferries etc.
There was a decent bathroom with a good shower, plenty of hot water and fresh towels.
The bedroom was a bit small but was clean with a comfortable bed. No air conditioning and was very warm during the night. 
There are electric sockets which are great for chargers - a big plus!
Although the hotel has ‘No Smoking ‘ signs in the room, unfortunately the inconsiderate previous guests must have spent the night smoking because as soon as we opened the door to the room the smell was really noticeable.
We opened the window and sprayed the room with a fresh air spray and thought it would be ok but the smell of cigarette smoke was very strong and lingered.
Very off putting.

TWO NIGHT STAY

We arrived in Cherbourg early evening and used this as a stop over as it is on the main road out of Cherbourg, travelling south and only 10 minutes from ferry. It was very clean, basic but comfortable. The lady, we presume the owner, was very welcoming and spoke good English. The breakfast was good and again very friendly service. The hotel is situated very close to Buffalo Grill and others for evening meal. Would recommend


Convenient location

This is a good clean, comfortable hotel.  The only downside was there was no Air Con in the room which is unusual as most of the B&B Hotels have Air Con. As usual the staff are very friendly. If you arrive when there is nobody in reception you have to check in using a machine like an ATM which I found very easy to use as long as you know your booking reference.
