Mercure Paris Montmartre Sacré Coeur

Myself and two young sons (10 & 12) just returned from a 5 day stay in Paris at this hotel and it was perfect. The room we had was very large for the 3 of us, with very comfortable beds, a very spacious and clean bathroom & separate toilet. At night, even though we were above the outside bar area, it was so quiet. I was worried about the air con as I had read negative comments, however, there was a temperature control in our room which kept the room comfortable esp when it was over 30 degrees on some of the days we were staying. We did not eat breakfast at the hotel, as we found a couple of local boulangeries to buy pastries, however, there was facilities for drinking water on the first floor and a great selection of snacks and drinks in the reception area. The reception staff could not have been more helpful - they were so friendly, and very willing to help with any questions we had. We wanted to particularly thank Ahmed and Khally, who made my children feel so welcome - there was also another young man on reception with shoulder length hair?? (sorry, I did not get your name) who was so caring and friendly when we had a few issues with loud neighbours - he offered for us to move rooms with no judgement if we wanted to - overall, the staff gave a very high level of personal customer service. We are already planning our next trip and will definitely return to this hotel.
