Chambres d'hôtes Laurent Besset

Laurent's chambre d'hote is fantastic in every way. We stayed three nights in his charming establishment, in an incredibly comfortable en suite room with shuttered windows overlooking the mountains. The accommodation is beautifully simple and spacious with lovely touches, such as the kettle and home-grown herbal teas (we recommend his verveine). We breakfast each morning in his lovely garden, feasting on a range of baked goods, home-made jams and delicious coffee...plus yoghurt, fresh fruit, nuts and seeds. Superb value. Die itself was a revelation - a gorgeous, medieval town, mostly pedestrianised and with a thriving arts and music scene. Contrary to our plans to just use it as a base to explore Vercors, we spent much of our time exploring the hidden delights of Die.
