Just returned from a weeks stay at Poppy's Paradise, what a superb gem of a place this is. Poppy's Paradise is a beautiful guest house, with so much room.The owners, Jacquie and Lee have spent years fully renovating this original barn and turned it into an amazing home, we were made very welcome from the start, Jacquie and Lee could not do more for us. Our room, Cotes du Amour was fabulous, very roomy with a very large shower room. Breakfast was provided every day at a time suitable for us. We didn't get to try Jacquie's evening menu, that will be next time. Poppies is situated in the countryside with fabulous views over the fields. A 20 minute drive to Cognac Centre and 40 Minutes to Saintes, many other fabulous towns are a short drive away. We will definitely be returning, hopefully very soon
