This lovely rural hotel was a very pleasant surprise as our overnight stop on the way to Italy. Situated in a small village very close to the champagne region of Eperney, and we would really recommend it as a place to stay, rather than the bigger, less personal chain hotels. From the moment we arrived, the staff were friendly and welcoming. The car park is behind the hotel and was a perfectly safe place to leave our car overnight (something that the larger hotels are unable to offer.) The rooms are motel style, everything you need with a fridge, kettle and decent shower. The decor is a bit dated but clean and comfortable. What really made this hotel shine was its food - probably one of the best meals we have had in ages. The restaurant staff were attentive and very professional and 10/10 for the food. Its worth going just for the cheese trolley and the Crepe Suzette cooked at the table for desert! We had such a wonderful meal we had to skip breakfast the following morning! If you enjoy good food and service, this place is a must.
