We were a small group of friends touring the WW1 battlefields.  The idea was to book a traditional family run hotel that was comfortable, good value, and that we could have a nice dinner chatting about our day.  We had to amend the booking, which was smoothly done via email,  Everything was as expected - with service exceeding.  Would recommend.

Perfect place to stay with all the amenities you could ask for.   Very well run establishment with great staff.

Ideal central and convenient location for visiting WW1 sites and 1916 Somme Museum, very friendly, welcoming and helpful staff, excellent evening meal. 

Ideally situated in the centre of Albert. Excellent restaurant and meals, super friendly staff. Would not hesitate to recommend.

The rooms are above the resturant. Our room was nice, and clean, and really good sized.The hotel is next door to another good resturant, and there are several good places to eat within 100m or so.Go to the underground war museum across the street, and learn about WW1 and the western front.

I have been to this hotel many times and would highly recommend it if you are in the area.  The rooms have very comfortable beds with great en-suite facilities.
The restaurant is fabulous with delicious homecooked food and excellent wines.
The owners and staff are very friendly and helpful. I will definitely be staying again.

The hotel rooms are comfortable, a reasonable size but simple, kept very clean. The restaurant is outstanding in terms of food quality and service. The prices charged are also reasonable. The Hotel's central position in the town is ideal for those who like to amble and for its proximity to the WW1 museum and church. Car parking in the blue zones around the hotel is unlimited for UK tourists with a British registered car. We will be back!

A lovely family run hotel very convenient to the WW1 museum.

We stayed here for one night while cycling through France. Friendly, helpful staff who accommodated our bikes. Great breakfast with fruit, yoghurt, croissants and fresh bread. The room was clean and comfortable and had a great rain shower. Would stay here again

Very nice family hotel in Albert

Wonderful hotel

Excellent

We stayed for 2 nights in this Logis hotel in the centre of Albert. Everything was good, nice comfort beds, good bathroom with a great shower, TV with English channels. We ate dinner there both nights and it was very good, the quality of the steaks and the cooking was perfect. The breakfasts were extensive and great quality. And the staff were lovely too. Oh, and we could park outside in the street for free. 

Lovely homely hotel with great food.

Enjoyable stay at a hotel where is stayed previously. Right in the centre of a small town. Excellent location as a base for visiting the First World War Somme battlefield. Whilst the very good town war museum is based in the basilica opposite the hotel, you will need a car though as most of the vast battlefield is in the countryside. Although Albert isn't a big town, they're are a number of good bars and restaurants which are reasonably priced.The room was comfortable with a view over the town Square- adequate but not large for the price. Breakfast was decent quality but felt rather rationed. As per my comment abovet though, I've stayed here once previously and would be pleased to return when I'm in the area.

Pleasant hotel for a short stay

This hotel has a great location in the centre of this historic town, opposite the beautifully rebuilt Basilique.  The room was fairly small but had everything that you needed, - a comfortable bed, quiet at night,  a good shower and a really nice buffet breakfast.  We took the half board option, available only through the hotel's own website.  This was incredibly good value because the food was superb.  

A superb place to stay when visiting the Somme

This was our first night stop on our WWI and WWII tour of northern France.  Lovely welcome, clean and functional rooms, friendly staff and really great, tasty food.  Thoroughly recommend and offered to store our luggage whilst we visited the museum opposite.  The hotel is also ideally located with the town of Albert worth a walk around as well.

Great food & accommodation

My sister and I had the pleasure of dining here in November 2019.  We did not stay at this venue but if a next time I will. We only ate in the restaurant.
The food was lovely ( especially the duck terrine !) the service impeccable and the staff were very friendly.
In particular I would like to make special mention of Chef Didier, who went to great lengths to help us with another matter.
If i am able to visit Albert again, I would return to this establishment to dine and make a point of staying with them as well.

Lovely food

It is becoming more difficult to find hotels within the Logis de France franchise which have restaurants of this standard attached.  We had intended to stay here in 2018 but the hotel shuts in August and we went to the Ibis instead. That was a less than brilliant experience (see previous review) so we were glad to be able to stay here this time.

We were given a  second floor room at the back which was fine despite the lack of a lift. The room was very nicely decorated and perfect for what we wanted.  The only downside was that in the middle of the night my other half was woken convinced that someone had just walked across the room to the bathroom and I woke up because the shower had suddenly switched itself on.  There is a floor above so it could have been someone above us but that floor did not seem to be guest accommodation.  Make of it what you will - we take it all in our stride these days !

The restaurant is very good indeed and we had an excellent meal.  Slightly marred by a group of Brits who felt it necessary to conduct their conversation at 98 decibels regardless of who else was in the room.  Regrettably it is a fact of life these days that people seem to feel that shrieking at each other is acceptable.

Breakfast is fairly standard but very good and set us up for the following day very well.  The cost for dinner bed and breakfast was EUR 223.

Parking is a bit of a lottery but we toured around the square a bit and we were just lucky that someone pulled out of a space directly in front of the hotel. 

If you are planning to visit Somme Battlefields then this hotel is a good base. Albert, after all, was a location for billets for the troops in WW1

A very good Logis Hotel

Enjoyed staying here.  Central and convenient for our purposes which was to visit WW1 battlefield sites.  Hotel staff were friendly, restaurant provided a good menu and rooms were clean and well decorated.  There is noise from the road but this should be expected when choosing a hotel in the centre of a town. Double glazing works well but I like to have windows open.  Rooms at the back are road noise free. I would definitely stay here again.
