Lyhdyn Tila

We stayed at lyhdyn tila for a week in July 2016 and it was a very relaxing stay. The Good: Clean room, wonderful view on the deck, kitchenette had the basics of what you needed including complimentary items to make tea and coffee on arrival. I can't say enough nice things about the staff including the 2 big "vicious" dogs that roam the property. Unfortunately we arrived at 2:00 am from Turku airport and the owner was up and welcomed us with a warm smile. She also noticed we had a baby and the very next day there was a crib brought to our room. You are free to explore their property which is beautiful and the husband will catch you and inform you about their history and things to do in the neighboring towns. Great guy. We invited some local family to visit us and had a nice cookout using their grill. They were also impressed with our accommodation. The Not So Good: Flies, flies, flies everywhere. You are on a working farm so expect to master your fly swatting skills. The WiFi is weak in Suite 1 but strong just outside the door and nearer to their parking site. This was a slight annoyance but not too bad since the purpose of our stay was to unplug and relax. We would definitely stay here again if we return to Turku and recommend it to fellow travelers who prefer something a little more cozy and off the beaten path. Kiitos!
