Recently stayed at Tunturioravat with my family, we had two cabins next to each other. Before even arriving communication with the main booker in our party was absolutely fantastic. We are so grateful for the recommendations before even arriving. Upon arrival we were blown away at how beautiful the cabins were, lit up in the snow. The area where they are is stunning, the scenery is wonderful and the location is fab. Inside the cabin was wonderfully clean and fully equipt. The kitchen had everything we needed and more. The cabin was lovely and cozy, warm, beds were comfy. To add to the already great property, WiFi was included along with TV with English channels. I would without a doubt stay here again and definitely plan on returning with our family group as soon as we can. Thank you so much to the perfect hosts. 

Very good cabins, would definitely stay here again and can recommend them. We were pleasantly surpised about the cabin. Location is very good, walking distance from village centre and bus stops. White not brand new the cabin was in very good condition, and there was some renovations done to bathroom and kitchen areas. Also it was extremely clean, who ever cleans these does execllent job. Electric heating is adjustable and it did great, not got cold inside even over -20C outside. Also nice fireplace with free firewood. Small sauna was nice too and kitchen area while bit small was equipped good with kitchenware to cook.  Also liked the good beds and pillows with warm blankets. Just couple of tips: We were bit puzzled about lack of frige and ended keeping stuff in the snow outside, but it turned out that frige is actually located behind the door opposite main door. This is not mentioned anywhere so don't do the same mistake as we did. Also there was rack to dry clothes and ironing board hidden behind bedroom cupboards, something we also did not found out until later in stay.

Full equipped kitchen, open fire place and sauna. Free fire wood in external shed at your disposal. Clean cabin with car park direct in front.
Only 10 minutes walk to the center with a supermarket, restaurants and activities.

We spent a week in Tunturioravat last week. We had a cottage of 5 cottages on this site. Despite the Christmas period having been celebrated last month, the skiing fraternity still manage to get their fix. We are not skiers, or walkers or 'fat bikers' so that much we were not looking for. What we were looking for is an authentic experience in Lapland for our bucket list.  In this resort we found EXACTLY what we wanted. Snow was everywhere, it was cold, sometimes very cold, but we were around half a mile from civilisation jn Akaslompolo, which has an enormous supermarket where everything is available. In the same place, tours are easily available and the companies go out of their way to ensure that you get what you ask for. We went on a Reindeer Sleigh ride, a Husky Sled ride and a trip to Rovenemi to see 'the real' Santa Clause, The cottage came with an open fire which was easily fired up each day, with cut and stored wood that was made readily available. My other half was celebrating her major birthday and could not be happier. Simon who runs the site was incredibly helpful, with advice for tours and supplying us with provisions for the first night as we were going to arrive too late for the local stores.
A great week, a great place to stay and a great experience with very friendly people.

Nestori, one of the Tunturioravat cabins, is a very nice and cosy log cabin. Here you have everything you need for your winter vacation including your own sauna, an open fire place and a waxing shed which even contains a washing machine- just in case. The cabin has two bedrooms, a nice living room and a small but well equipped kitchen with a dishwasher- what a treat. The cabins are in easy walking distance to the town center and just a app. 100 m from the skiing tracks, so you don´t need a car. Reno picked us up when we arrived and was very helpful.

Visited during the autumn season when the countryside turns beautiful colours. This cabin was in a great central location but set back from the road and surrounded by trees so you don't realise how close you are to the village. Hired bikes and walked on lots of marked trails , you can by a map in supermarket and visitor centre. 

Cabin is detached but in an area with 4 other matching cabins so could be good to rent 2 close together for 2 families but still have independence from each other. Cabin has 2 bedrooms with enough space for a desk too, and a total of 4 beds in cabin and children's cot and highchair available.

Kitchen is small but well equipped with microwave, dishwasher etc. There is also open log fire and cabin has walkin shower and sauna. 

Inside the walls are made of traditional pine logs with pine flooring and pine furniture, very cosy feel.
