We visited two summers ago and had a great experience with the hotel. The owner was very accommodating and helpful, giving us advice and just chatting with us. They had salmon, meats etc. set up for breakfast but when we asked, they whipped up vegetarian breakfast options specifically for us! The restaurant/bar downstairs also had plenty of vegetarian options on the menu which we did not expect at all in a small town like Joutsa. The best pizza we had had in a while. The room was very quiet and clean, no complaints.
