Sefton Express Hotel

Our flight from Isle of Man got cancelled and we booked the Sefton Express and from the minute we arrived the welcome was amazing and Louby at reception was fantastic and couldn’t do enough for us, the hotel for the price was clean, room was basic but had everything you would need, welcoming and perfect positioning near the airport. If we’re ever back in Isle of Man we will definitely use again.

-It is really, really close to the airport. But, Castletown is also just about a 20 mins walk, and the harbour or coast is easily accessible like that. Just as the shops or restaurants. The hotel seems to be very remote, but it is not the case. 
-A big plus that the receptionist was friendly and smiling early morning too!
-I found everything in the room, no concerns.
-The bed was a bit uncomfortable, but it was still all right.

Special thanks to Rosemary who helped us a lot with an outside incident we had before we checked in. Rosemary was excellent & efficient but especially kind and funny, great wicked sense of humour 😆. Raided sefton express first aid box and Rosemary couldn't have been more helpful. An asset to Sefton Express and a credit to herself and hotel manager Tania.
A good nights sleep and rest before onward travel.

We stayed for nine nights in this superbly run hotel.
Small extremely clean room, but with an outstanding king size bed which led to comfortable nights sleep. The room was equipped with an excellent shower, iron and board, hairdryer and tea making facilities. 
If you’re out and about, you don’t need anything more.
The continental breakfast was fresh and plentiful with a good range of choices, kept topped up by attentive staff.
Every single member of staff here are outstanding and friendly, their customer service is second to none. Lead from the front by Tanya everyone pulls together to take care of their guests, it’s like staying with friends. Even though it is located a few minutes walk from the airport, you barely hear the airport. The bus stop is conveniently located at the airport and the bus services run frequently and reliably.
The rooms overlook the car park which is more than adequate.
So good we went back for an extra night when the ferries were cancelled due to the weather, making our stay ten nights.
Thanks to everyone, we will be back.

This is the second time I have stayed here. 

Location is convenient across the road from the airport and a 5 minute drive in to Castletown. Douglas is a 20 min drive and the hotel benefits from a spacious car park. 

Plentiful continental breakfast and attentive staff. Loubey was fantastic and a credit to the hotel. 

Rooms are basic but comfortable and clean and contain all the essentials. 

I look forward to returning when I next come to IOM.

Our first time here and the Isle of Man, booked in for a two night stay before heading off to our self catering cottage.  It's a very nice hotel with pleasant and friendly staff. The rooms were clean and welcoming and I found my room at the end of a ground floor corridor to be very quiet, the bathroom and shower cubicle quite small but ok for a couple of nights.  Inclusive continental breakfast was lovely with plenty of choice.  As we didn't have transport we stayed and had evening meals which were more than adequate for the price.  Public transport from the airport is easy but it's less than a half hour walk into Castletown.  If we came to IOM again we'd happily stay here.

We can’t find fault with this hotel.
Our room was very clean, set out well and had an excellent shower.
The inclusive continental breakfast was excellent.  There's a bar and limited range of food in the evenings which we didn't use.
We didn't notice any noise from the airport.

My must go to place before catching a flight the following day and also good for staycations.Met alot of new staff this time round and they were all excellent 👌 my bad luck missed the boss Tania she is another level PERFECT no job too small..The go to Girl 💃🤓 

Stayed at Sefton Express several times and every time a lovely welcome and perfect stay before catching a early flight. Its like a start to a holiday or trip away. Tanya is always lovely, efficient, professional and so helpful and always reassuring to see her. Booked our next stay.

Can't fault the Sefton Express. It was modern, clean, quiet, everything worked as it should, staff friendly, loads of free car and motorbike parking.  The location looks a bit out of the way but is super convenient for the airport (only a couple of minutes walk) and only 20 min walk from Castletown and the village of Ballasalla all on pavements (so no having to dodge cars). It's near a bus stop that connects to all the main routes and towns on the Island and the charming steam train stop 'Ronaldsway Halt' is only a 5 min walk away, as is a lovely path that follows the Silverburn River that will take you to Castletown one way and Ballasalla and Rushen Abbey the other. I enjoyed my stay at Sefton Express. It exceeded my expectations. It was also very good value for money.  It is easily equivalent to Premier Inn (perhaps even better) but better value.
