Pickalbatros Royal Moderna Resort

We flew out from Birmingham airport on the 28th Sept for 14 nights with TUI. We came to the Royal Albatros Moderna 13 years ago, which is our 1st time coming to Sharm, and after seeing a great deal; we decided to return. Simply put, the hotel and staff are amazing. We were originally placed on the 2nd floor block overlooking the relaxing pool, facing the Golden Spa. After 2 days we got a room change to the ground floor, free of charge which made life easier as we spent every day at this pool, so we could nip in and out of our room without difficulty. The resort has several restaurants, Mum Kaiser (German name but caters for all), Soprano (Italian style with pastas and freshly baked pizzas) Culina (seafood), Tagine (middle Eastern and asian) and also the White Elephant which you have to pre book but is also free. All the staff and room service staff are super nice, well mannered and are always welcoming The beach sadly isnt the best possibly due to Egypt being a very desert and sandy region. We spent maybe 1 hour here and then didn't return. They have a long jetty that seems to go out onto the horizon and at the end you can clearly see all manner of sea life, from tuna, stingrays, small sharks and amazing colourful fish We had a our room serviced every 2 days and the guy was impeccable with his cleaning. Unfortunately, the entertainment we didn't see as the stage is located by the beach which is a long walk from our room, the restaurants and reception. A great resort and we will return again
