SUNRISE Royal Makadi Resort 

We have just returned from a fantastic 2 week stay at the Sunrise Royal Makadi Resort and it certainly won’t be our last - we’ve already booked our next visit! From the moment we arrived, the hotel was spotless. The cleanliness throughout the entire resort is outstanding. The toilets and public areas are always spotlessly clean, tables are cleared and cleaned quickly, and the gardeners do an amazing job keeping the grounds looking beautiful and immaculate. The whole resort is so well maintained and it really shows. Our room in Block 14 was kept extremely clean every day, with great attention to detail from housekeeping. It was always fresh and comfortable to return to. We absolutely loved the heated pools - perfect for this time of year, and the option to dine around in the different restaurants is a huge plus. The food was excellent, with plenty of choice, and something we particularly appreciated was that the food and plates were always hot, which makes such a difference. The location is ideal as well. We loved that you can safely walk along the beach outside the hotel - it’s such a lovely area and adds even more to the overall experience. A special mention must go to some of the amazing staff who truly made our holiday. Gazza from the animation team is fantastic at his job - always interacting with guests, full of energy, and making sure everyone is having a great time. Mansour, Ibrahim, Abdullah and Yousef really made our stay extra special and are a true credit to the hotel and the company. And Said at the Sunray Bar deserves an extra thank you - he makes amazing cocktails and always serves them with a smile! Overall, this hotel exceed our expectations. The service, cleanliness, facilities and staff are second to none. We can’t wait to return!
