Hostal Zentrum

In English: Gerd’s hostel is indeed in the center and quite close to the Mariscal Sur District in Quito, which is the area with a lot of bars and restaurants. During our backpacking trip through Quito we learned what we believe a good hostel needs … a fast and efficient Wireless network, clean rooms, a delicious and healthy breakfast and a great host. Which is what we got, while staying at the Hostal Zentrum. And even a bit of a home-feeling, given that Gerd is german. We stayed three different times, we were never disappointed. There is an additional car-service from and to the airport which is cheaper than a taxi or an Uber and can be arranged with Gerd. In German: Die Unterkunft von Gerd liegt wirklich sehr zentral fußläufig zum Mariscal Sur District in Quito der mit vielen Bars und Restaurant ausgestattet ist. Während unserer Reisen haben wir viel über Hostels gelernt und wichtig ist wirklich gut funktionierendes Internet, Sauberkeit, ein ausreichendes Frühstück und ein netter Host. Und all das haben wir im Hostal Zentrum bekommen. Dazu noch ein Stück Heimat ... was will man mehr. Wir waren insgesamt drei mal bei Gerd und der Eindruck hat sicher jedesmal bestätigt. Desweiteren gibt es einen zuverlässigen und kostengünstigen Fahrservice vom und zum Flughafen, welchen wir genutzt haben.
