I had a bad experience at Be Live Hamaca in Boca Chica. When I reserved the room I was told it was all inclusive. When I arrived all the restaurants and bars were closed. So I walked down the beach to a hotel I had stayed at several years ago. Don Michelle. The owner ,Mario, is doing some renovating as Covid has brought tourism to a standstill and is a good time to do it. He said if I didn't mind the mess he would rent me a room and even though the kitchen was closed he would cook for me. Mario was an Italian chef in Europe. The food was as good as any 5 star hotel. Our room had a balcony overlooking the sea. it was a marvelous stay which I look forward to repeating again.
