This was a fabulous find! This is much more than a hotel but not quite a resort. It is part old, grand hotel and part well designed Danish hotel all nestled in a beautiful sculpture garden. We stayed in the new modern building and it was beautiful. This hotel has little pockets everywhere to sit and read or be in nature. There is a very chic deck with loungers and outdoor furniture, seats in this gorgeous garden with lavender and other flowers growing, plenty of sitting areas inside. There is also a game room. The reception area offers lawn games, bikes for all ages from toddler to adult, a basket of blankets and towels, a basket of rain boots in all sizes, etc. It is charming! The front of the hotel looks like something out of Cape Cod or a grand New England seaside resort and the back is a gorgeous garden with unique sculptures all around. There is a beach across the street that was lovely and the hotel will provide you everything you need for a beach day or a picnic day. Breakfast was fantastic! So many options and everything was homemade or organic and wonderful. We also had dinner there and it was excellent. Cocktails couldn’t be beat!
