OREA Hotel Pyramida Praha

OREA Pyramida has a long history as a well known hotel in Prague, but over the past 10 years they have worked continuously to update, upgrade and transform this place into the modern, chic hotel it is now. The breakfast is abundant, and caters to the breakfast habits of many cultures. Everything is fresh and well presented. The vibe in the room is relaxed, and a beautiful way to begin your day. On the ground floor, the Eclipse restaurant is a trendy spot for lunch or dinner, or dessert and coffee. In a previous summer, we brought a group comprised of soccer and basketball players and coaches. The chefs kindly prepared beautiful platters of cold meats and cheeses, and fruits and vegetables. We were fresh off our long flight and everyone was tired and hungry. We had a refreshing time sitting in this relaxing atmosphere eating good food together. I have Celiac. This past week for dinner one night I asked if the chef would simply grill some chicken and add it to the Grilled Haloumi (cheese) salad. They were happy to accommodate my request, and it was delicious! There is secure parking available, and one block from the front entrance is the trams stop. At the front desk they are happy to explain what tram number will take you where you want to go, and how to make payment for the transportation you choose. We are impressed with the professionalism and helpfulness of all of the employees - the front desk staff, housekeepers, restaurant staff and spa/wellness staff. Probably my only negative is that the pool is usually cooler than what I find comfortable (28 C last week). The rooms have heat and AC, and the sheets are crisp, soft luxury cotton. The beds are very comfortable. We are always happy to come to Pyramida.
