Antik Hotel 

My wife and I arrived in Prague and were dropped right at the entrance of Hotel Antik by a Bolt taxi. We walked into reception, only for me to realise I’d somehow managed to leave my mobile in the taxi…which had already disappeared into the chaos of the city centre. Monika, the receptionist, spotted the panic straight away as I tore through my bags hoping I was wrong. Once it became clear the phone really was touring Prague without me, she didn’t hesitate. She immediately rang Bolt to try to track down the driver, then gave me all the extra contact details I’d need to follow it up. She didn’t stop there. Monika set me up in a small office with a computer so I could try to track my phone, and she helped translate messages when needed. Twenty-four hours later, thanks to her persistence, we finally made contact with the driver. She took it upon herself to handle the translation and arrange a meeting time, and everything came together perfectly. She didn’t have to do any of that. Many places would have shrugged and left me to sort it out. Instead, Monika genuinely went above and beyond, and we’re incredibly grateful. She’s a real credit and Ambassador to Hotel Antik.
