230 reviewsWe stayed over a week at this lovely, small hotel and we had a perfect stay. We stayed in the largest room, which includes a sitting area, sunroom, walk in closet, desk area, and working wood fireplace. The bathroom is small but adequate; it has a stall shower. The ground floor room is next to reception and there is a room on the 2nd floor, but it was quiet and peaceful. Breakfast was excellent—you could get eggs cooked to order in addition to multiple items laid out in a small but ample buffet. There is a cafe associated with the hotel and we got a plate of cheese, cured meats, and bread for a “picnic” in our room. They also have wine. The staff is very helpful! The hotel is about a 10 minute walk to a tram station that gets you into town but the walk is pleasant. There are two delicious restaurants about a 5 minute walk away (Liandra and Vinobono) and then other options ~20 minute walk. This hotel is not in the center of town but we prefer that and it is still easy to get where you need to go. (Trams are easy to use, especially if you download the PID app and get a 72-hour ticket.) My only suggestion for improvement would be to include robes but that is a small thing for an otherwise perfect hotel. (We also took advantage of the car service they arranged to and from the airport, and it was very easy and convenient.)
