Nice hotel, clean large rooms. I had nice view from my balcony to garden and to town. Breakfast was very good. No problems. Acceptable price for business trip. Historical Stramberk city center is very close - for nice walking.

The town of Stramberk straggles up a hill crowned with a ruined castle.  Great place to go walking.  This inn is located down the hill from the town center in what appears to be a residential street.  It is too far from the train station to walk, so if you call them they will send you a taxi.

There are three wooden buildings, the main one with a very good restaurant where I ate each night.  My chalet style building had about six rooms in it.  There was a good sense of quiet and privacy.  The rooms are basic (mine was a small single) but comfortable and clean, with a nice view of the countryside from the window.  There was no shower, only a tub, but that was fine for me.  No kettle in the room, but breakfast begins at 6:30.  And it is very good indeed, different each morning.

The staff was terrific and helped me with transport options.  We decided a taxi was the only way to get to Radhost to go walking.  Otherwise three buses.  These are very friendly and helpful people.

You have to go outside your room to pick up the WiFi.  I don't believe there is air conditioning.  Don't know if it gets hot here, though.

This was a very pleasant place to stay and I would go back for sure.

Perfect place to stay, masive wooden house surrounded by huge clean garden. We were there for a wedding and the other day we went for a walk around. There is a beautiful nature, in this little city is nice church and tower. Hotel Roubenka has perfect homemade lemonades, great coffee and homemade cakes. My partner loved their rooms with view to tower/castle and super silent nights.

Nice and quiet place. Group of several smaller log houses fits perfectly into the small town. From the porch there is wonderful view of the hill with "Trúba" (tower of the castle which does not exist anymore). The rooms are basic, but comfortable and clean, restaurant offers a good selection of local dishes. Helpful staff.

Štramberg is a picturesque town in the Moravian hills of the Czech Republic. Hotel Roubenka is a collection of small chalets around the main building with the restaurant area. It is all very pretty and sympathetic to the location.

We were not staying in the hotel, but stopped for lunch here whilst visiting Štramberg. I was in a large group of 23 people and they did well to accommodate and serve us all. We sat on their external balcony and enjoyed the beautiful view of the hills.

Food and drink worked out at about £14 GBP per person and was pretty good.
