Penzion Doušek

Late in the day after 400 miles, we pull over in Brunthal, hear a music festival going on and check into Pension Dousek. The owner Miroslav was a bit bonkers, really enthusiastic and seemed to think that speaking to us in Czech quicker and louder would help us understand! We got the apartment for about £40 for two. Breakfast was homemade local dish from Mrs Miroslav (Who we mysteriously never met) Miroslav has a huge wood pile in the garden Secure parking with its own security guard, even if he is a little wooden. Walking distance to the rather odd town centre Good facilities and the best 60/70s decor I have seen for many years. A thoroughly enjoyably brief stay....the locals were all friendly and up for a laugh, it is just a shame the music was sh***!
