I booked the ticket for my daughter birthday from 22 NOV to 29 NOV 2024. I am very glad that we went to this resort.  Great service,  hospitality,  the people,  and the food. The Cuban go above and beyond to take care of us. I strongly recommend this place. Plus their store humidor is full of all kinds of cigars and selection.  Thank you to all the resort staff for making our stay memorable.

We just returned from a two-week vacation at PCSM, as always it was a great time. Yes, we did have power and no, we didn't run out of food. 
The staff (our friends who make us feel like family) at this resort are amazing.
This was our 17th time at this resort and over 30 trips to Cuba. We can compare, and this is our favorite. Before our arrival Marta ensured that everything was perfect, and it was. Thank you, Marta. All the best with the new baby. 
As you arrive you will go through the lobby. This is where you will spend a lot of time with amazing staff. The stars of the lobby are Yenisey (Jenny), Carlos, Lienesev (really hope to see the coffee cart returned), Yanny, Claudia-Maria and of course Reniel, for our morning coffee.
Live music was provided in the lobby, throughout the day and in the evening.  These musicians are very talented and much appreciated.
The Martini Bar is a wonderful place to sit and relax, with a beautiful mixology show and great service provided by Raoul. 
The Buffet offers a variety of foods. Yes, it can be repetitive, and some things might not be available, but there are plenty of choices that will be prepared and cooked for you. Yandy and Mario are two of the servers that will take care of you. 
A la Carte restaurants (Cuban, Romantico and Itallian), because of the low season, were not all opened at the same time, but on a rotation with the same staff. Incredible people, Yamy will greet you, Barbara with her smile, Litsandra and Elianys will ensure you have a great time. 
The snack bar (24/7) offers a limited selection, but you will always find something. Thank you for the good service and smiles, Carlos.
The Pescador and The Choza offer lunch a la carte, both have excellent food and service. 
Beach Bar: Paolino, Abel and Yael make sure to serve you with a smile and warm welcome.
The Beach is well kept and has been eroded somewhat yet still has plenty of chairs and palapas accessible.  New walkways have been installed and give access to the lower beach portion.  Renaldo will assist you with your chairs and make sure you are comfortable.
The Spa offers services and a wonderful hairdresser.  Thank you for our new looks.
Our room in block 15 was kept clean and comfortable by Alfredo. Thank you for the daily smiles and making us feel at home. 
The grounds are well kept, and a lot of renovations are taking place, but do not interfere with our daily activities. 
If you are planning a trip to Cuba, PCSM is a great choice. It is 1hr 45min from the airport. Take this time to enjoy the scenery and observe the way of life of these great people. If this is your first time to Cuba, manage your expectations and keep an open mind. If you going anywhere in Cuba and you have extra space in your suitcase, they need a bit of everything, medication, clothing, toys etc… we are already planning trip # 18 to PCSM.

I have been to a few different resorts in Cuba and this one is by far favourite.
The staff is warm, welcoming, and friendly.
As someone who is painfully shy, I had no problem getting up and joining in on the activities the staff put on for everyone.
Seeing how excited repeat guests are to see staff is also another sign that this is a great resort.
I'm also a picky eater but I've been able to stuff my face no problem.
When it has said it would rain all day it has only rained for maybe 10 minutes total throughout the day and it's still beautiful even as it rains.
The entertainment, drinks, staff, and other guests are phenomenal and you feel at home very quickly. I've already booked to be back in April 2025

Pleasantly surprised at the available food.  Missing only fresh eggs, but butter, cheese, wine in good supply unlike my Jan trip to Cayo Largo.  Hot water and internet are also good.  Staff is great.  Buildings are a bit run down, and the TV doesn't work, but I'm OK with that.  The biggest problem is that my room faces the pool and they play loud music all afternoon and the bass resonates annoyingly in the room, but I guess that is my fault for not providing a room choice -- I booked with Air Transat for the first time and didn't see where to enter the room requests.  I would come back here again but choose a quieter room next time.

THIRD TRIP IN 2024. It seems that ONE name is most memorable : Raul. Obviously, master cocktail maker Raul at the Mojito Bar (with charming Cristian) but CoffeeBar Raul Ernesto takes the Lobby and his coffee « space » to ♥️… how unfortunate that not ALL the lobby staff shares his enthusiasm! A multi-tasker who is attentive to his guests. Guys: you are like family.
