Casa Alfi is well situated just a two minute walk to the city centre. Our room and ensuite was spotless and extremely comfortable. We got used to good service in Costa Riica but the service that we received at Casa Alfi was exceptional. Lulu and Olga went out of their way to be considerate and helpful, always with a great sense of humour with Alfie himself the perfect host. Breakfasts are good served in the light, open central area and there is free coffee on tap. We stopped at Casa Alfie twice during our tour of Costa Rica and I can recommend it to anyone. When we visit San Jose again it will be our first port of call.
