Wuhu Fangte hotel

We stayed here for 4 nights and were very impressed. The room is a reasonable size but the bathroom is a little mall. It does have a separate shower so the rest of the floor stays dry unlike some Chinese hotels. The room has most amenities except for a fridge. We found the bed very comfortable; the mattress is fairly hard like most Chinese hotels.The daily room servicing was of a high standard. Most people stay here to visit the amusement park next door and that means many children who are sometimes noisy.They offered us a discount on a park visit because we were hotel guests and we took up the offer (see my separate review)..In fact the hotel is 15-20 minutes distant from the main parts of Wuhu and thu a little isolated. The grounds are very park like as they also host weddings, events and conferences. The dining room is very classy. The excellent included breakfast gives you some Western choices such as a toaster and a superb Italian coffee machine. The Chinese choices are very wide. Also the chef will cook a set rang of dishes for you. We also ate a few evening meals in the dining room and they were of a very high standard. The dining staff are very helpful to foreigners. Some in the office speak very good English. In fact the counter staff are excellent and very helpful
