The property has good & bad sides, allow me to summarize here: The Good: - Very cheap price (USD 35-50 per night) and you get apartment style accommodation - The room is good, has living area, kitchen area, washing machine, cooking stuffs (ask for them), Wi-Fi router in room, etc. - The staffs are helpful, can speak little English, and friendly. - Location is great, just few minutes walk to Dongmen walking street. I think less than a hundred step. The Bad: - Difficult to find (located behind the corner ground, ask the security guard around there would help -- sure, show the name in Chinese) - Check-in process was not smooth, since you need the building guard to bring you to 15th floor for check-in, then you will get the key card for your room and elevator. (floor lock) - Bathroom is tidy, but still okay for me. - The room looks clean but not that clean as standard hotel. Still we can call it clean, though. Be prepared to pay cash, and deposit of CNY 200. (I stayed here for 2 nights) Definitely good hotel, if you don't mind little things (size of bathroom and little bit of dust here and there) Internet in China is bad, prepared VPN (which I didn't this time). Or you may be able to use Gmail now, but not in few minutes later.
