Shenzhen Beyond The Clouds Youth Hostel

This hotel is fairly new. We were told it had just opened 3 months before we arrived. Still squeaky clean and sparkling. This complex is a Hotel and serviced apartments as well. The rooms are spacious and is self contained with kitchen and laundry. Usual amenities available- shampoos, lotion, tea, coffee, complimentary water, hairdryer, robes, slippers. Walk in closets with lots of drawers and cabinets to store your things. The unusual thing we found and which others have mentioned before is that there were no utensils or kitchenware whatsoever. We ate out all the time so we didn’t need them but if one was to use the kitchen then there’s a problem. Bed is huge and most comfortable! Big bath. Hotel is right outside one of the metro stations so it’s pretty accessible. Lots of eateries and shopping areas at walking distance. I would recommend this hotel for quality stay to anyone visiting the Nanshan area of Shenzhen.
