Jinjiang Inn Shanghai Tongji University

Rushed to China. Catched by the photos and the cheapest price online. Convenience for my personal errands is another reason to select this hotel. It’s named Magnolia Shanghai when I booked it. Now it’s using its Chinese literature name “JinJiang”. (The proof is that those photos and location are same) Located at a quiet residential area and a nearby university. Over 10 stories tower looking. When entering it, one lane drive through in the front of small entrance , dim lighted and rusted lobby and several foreigners waited in line for checking in. Those stuff here don’t have competence like those in modernized hotels in China. But at least friendly and humble. I was told by friend that it’s built in higher stand at the time of early 80’s of last century. But it’s out of date now. Used to US style, I felt everything small here, small room, small bed and other small furniture like sofa, desk, lamp … etc. But it’s very clean. It’s much better, fancier and clean than those motels/low end hotels in US. It’s 5 stars in value for bargainer. I didn’t use and expect any services except free internet . Recommend this place for sleeping and shower 
