Vienna Hotel Nanning Chaoyang Road

I stayed here for 3 nights, as I was attending a Football match in the city. I don't think Nanning is a tourist destination for many people from Britain and it can be difficult to find anyone who are able to speak English (this goes for the Hotel as well). However, with some improvisation we managed to get everything we needed. The Hotel in general is a bit worn around the edges. However, the rooms were large ( I booked a large room, as the prices are so cheap. There are tea and coffee making facilities, safe, TV , Wifi, aircon, comp bottles of water in the room. The bathroom had a large walk in shower with a powerful shower. The room was cleaned on a daily basis and there were no issues around this. We had breakfast on one occasion (you pay extra for this.... but mot much). Breakfast is a mixture of Local food. However, there are a lot of other eating places within a short walk from the Hotel. Nanning Station is approx 5 mins walk up the road and shops etc are not far either. The staff were friendly and tried to help out when they could. However, as stated above the language barrier could be an issue. I would stay here again, as it is convenient for exploring the city, due to its proximity to the station.
