4 reviewsMy husband took me here to see the grounds and for dinner at the restaurant. The grounds are beautiful with a small cherry blossom garden in Japanese style. They have several blocks. We chose the main block which has a Thai, South East Asian style. The room was big and spacious with a small balcony. Strangely I can’t understand why they didn’t put a small table and chair in the balcony and we pulled the one from the room outside. It was also strange that the housekeeping lady insisted on turning on the television when I turned it off. The restaurant where we had dinner was lovely. The food was good and presented beautifully but a bit pretentious and severely overpriced for the food as well as the service. I found the inclusion of some of the dishes odd as well - such as sashimi as one of the starters and a chocolate cake as a dessert. Personally I think it would have been nicer to keep the entire meal local particularly when the execution of Japanese and western dishes was not really up to the standards of the prices that they charge. The savory green dumpling at the end of the meal however was to die for.
