I recently celebrated my mother’s birthday over a Sunday lunch at The Legacy House, and the experience was outstanding from start to finish. Lydia (Manager) and our server Alex took wonderful care of our family and made the occasion feel very special. From the beginning, they checked our food preferences carefully and guided us through the menu, highlighting what was special about each dish. Alex went a step further by explaining the cooking methods and ingredients in the dim sum, so we knew exactly what we were ordering and eating. His thoughtful arrangement of the food timing meant that all dishes arrived in an orderly flow and were enjoyed at their best. My father, who is already a food enthusiast, particularly appreciated Alex’s detailed explanations and the stories behind the dishes, and mentioned that he learned a lot from him. Our meal ended with a beautifully chosen birthday dessert for my mother, selected with great care by Alex. She loved it, and this thoughtful touch truly brightened our day, especially on a rainy Sunday. Overall, it was a memorable and heartwarming lunch. The combination of refined cuisine, genuine hospitality, and attention to detail from Lydia and Alex made The Legacy House a place I would gladly recommend and return to for future family celebrations.
