86 reviewsThe hotel is about 5 mins walk from the gate into the old town, it’s very well appointed. It is a small courtyard hotel with a great restaurant and nice (but expensive) coffee shop that serves FABULOUS waffles and good coffee. The rooms are located off a pretty and quiet courtyard. If you stay here, choose your room; they are all very different in size and style: We wanted to go for the traditional room (when in China!) but we chose a bigger more spacious one. They also have modern rooms with western beds. Overall; I think they probably have a room for most tastes. The staff speak very good English, which is a first for us in this part of China. If you are staying for one or two nights and want to be in centre of town in an old courtyard hotel, I recommend this place.
