I recommend this hotel because all the staff was ready to help. Any questions you ever had they had the answer. They were really reliable. They helped us with directions to places and calling for reservations. The rooms are pretty good. I love the bed and the pillows. Also I like the sandals and all the presents that come everyday. Fruits, yogurt, and toys. My daughter is a teacher and she was going to use them. We love the breakfast buffet. We tried every single dish in there. This hotel was our first experience in Beijing. So it was great. Gave us a great star.

I feel I must write this review cos most of  other reviews are in Chinese. This is a really good hotel. Rooms are big and clean. Main attractions such Baotu Spring, Spring City Square & Black Tiger Spring are within walking distance. The hotel staff go all the way to assist you. Fruits, toys & snacks are sent the room daily. They also boil pear water. Really sweet of them.

This is a business hotel. I reserved a room without window. 

Everything is fine but in order to take a taxi, you have to walk out to the main road. The taxi driver may not drive into the side road next to the hotel.

This hotel provides fruit and yogurt everyday. Not bad.

It can access to the tourist destination nearby.

Great Hotel Great Location

This is now the Shunhe Hotel. We had a double room. Aged hotel, shabby around the edges. Rooms reasonably comfortable. Facing street more noise, but bigger room. Not sure if it was worth it because even with the window closed the noise from the street made it difficult to get a good night's sleep.  Mini fridge, computer, school supplies, bottled water and snacks. Worn carpet and linens, but fairly clean. Bathroom has mold in shower, around fixtures, on underside of rubber bath mat and the shower leaked all over the floor. Medium hard beds. Kitschy. Bathrobes. Super friendly and helpful staff with little working knowledge of English by they try really hard. Good location. WiFi unsecured. Not sure if it was the location, but this was the only place during a month long trip to China where we experienced a complete black out one night that lasted for several hours.  Not sure if I would recommend this hotel if you have other options.

The best part about this hotel was the staff, but other than that...

Did a thorough survey of all hotels in Jinan before deciding on the C Sohoh Hotel. The location is AWESOME. We were able to easily walk 25 min to Daming Lake, 30 min to QianFo Shan (Thousand Mt. Buddha Hills). In the evening we walked 20 min to one of Jinan's most popular BBQ streets (Yinchi St right near the Mosque) for great food. If you are planning a tourist trip I would highly recommend this hotel. As for the room we booked 2 deluxe queen rooms. When we arrived they put one of us in a deluxe queen and the other in a standard Room. The standard room was small and there was no proper shower, just a drain in the tiled floor. We asked to be moved according to our room booking which they quickly did. The deluxe was quite big, it faced the street and the bathroom was large. Note there is no wifi, you can only use the computer provided in the room (i.e. no VPN). The bathroom was fine, not anything spectacular and one of our deluxe rooms did not have a mini-fridge. If I were staying longer than 1 or 2 nights I might pick the Sofitel, which is right across the street. That being said, for a quick weekend trip the C Sohoh is perfectly fine and fantastically central.
