The Johnston Suites Hong Kong

I remembered to take the photos whole checking out hence the mess. Location - Location wise johnston is more than perfect. The tram stops right outside, the mtr is a 2 min walk across the street. The wan chai market and lee tung avenue are a 1 min walk. Few months ago 5 gives opened up nearby as well. Amenities include a gym. While we there one of the machines was not working. There used to be a pool not anymore. There two outdoor place on the same level as the gym, entry is through the gym. But the garden section that used to be the pool area on same days was closed at 7pm. Even though there was no notice or sign about it. Room - We were on the 18th floor which had a nice view facing the southhorn playground. The room size is decent considering Hong Kong. There was a 2 in one washer and dryer. The fridge is small so you can't keep much which is difficult if you cook a lot. Service - I did not like the cleaning service. They only provide cleaning twice a week. Many other service apartments provider daily cleaning service. Once they did not do a good job and I complained to the management, next thing the maid is knocking in my door to pick a fight with me asking why I complained. I think the management needs to handle these matters better. There is a roof top place to hang out but it's just okay. Over all location and room size is what puts Johnston in a good rating.
