Harbin Metropark Holiday Hotel

I was there on Feb 20th until Feb 22nd 2019, the hotel is good. Very clean and the room size is just fine for having 2 big luggages. But the area is not close to any shopping area...... i recommend to find other hotels which are close to the central street. 

It's one of the hotel arranged for us in our tour itinerary. Good customer service which is very rare in China. No buffer breakfast but the set breakfast was okay for me. We can choose to have either western or oriental breakfast. Clean and comfy room.

Not sure if this hotel is linked to Holiday Inn chain, but the environment, facilities and service culture seem like though I know it is managed by locals in China. 

Rooms are of decent size, sufficient place to open up two large luggages on the floor without any problem. Toilet facilities are good with separate shower room and toilet and all essentials are well equipped. 

Lobby is a small but there are plenty of local eating places just a stone throw away from the hotel, prices of the local eating places are cheap and foods taste good too albeit a bit oily for our liking. 

Hotel provides option for breakfast, this is good if you happened not to like the crowd of the locals ( in case you bumped into local groups staying in same hotel) to rush the local breakfast, you have an option to settle down and being served with a western set. I like the western set breakfast as it is so relaxing to bring the day without having to rush. 

Only set back is the hotel does not cater for laundry service, which means you have get the laundry service by the external party, 

Overall, I think this tourist class hotel serve and meet the tourists need well.


A Tourists’ Class Hotel

This hotel is called Metropark Holiday Hotel. The hotel has a small frontage and the lobby is not very impressive but the rooms are well appointed and nicely furnished. Very comfortable if you just need a good night's sleep. The breakfast is separated into Chinese and Western. The western breakfast is very simple so Chinese may be better.

Worse Hotel I ever stayed in China, Heater cant be adjusted, so the room is cold. Hot water unstable. Toilet flush is too small so cant work properly, U need to call housekeeping to fix it. We were staying in 3 rooms and 2 rooms happening like that. Even the egg cooker has no manner. She pulled my daugther from a table to the front just to confirm the breakfast ticket. The manager whose in charge with the ticket allowed her to go in, thats mean she already gave the ticket. Why does an egg cooker so noisy with something thats not at her job description? and do something terrible?
