Hanzhong is a beautiful city, very clean, full of kind people . Had a wonderful time there, shopping , visiting the Hanzhong museum which was free. found an old Taoist temple off the beaten path, the hotel is ok, not too bad. good breakfast, lots of selection and seating. front desk kept increasing the deposit, first was 200RMB then 400 then 600. rooms were 200 RMB per night, about 40$. seems the front desk people dont have a clue. The bloody waiter in a private room told us the steam buns were vegetarian but they had meat inside. Stupid boy! would stay again though, the rooms were fairly clean and well kept. Cleaning staff were very good. would have had a nice view but the windows were very dirty. overall good property/hotel. great location.
