Nirvana Organic Farm Inn

If you would like a relaxed holiday surrounded by nature, this place is for you. It is close to lots of walks and sights. Xingping main town is cute and easy to get to with an easy walk and a quick scenic ferry ride. Our room had a separate bedroom from the lounge that also had a single bed in it. There was also a couch that I wonder if it folds down to another bed. There is a kettle that we used for two minute noodles we got from the little shop around the corner one night. There is no fridge so my husband put his beers outside to keep cold at night. There was a big separate shower, but for us it could have been a bit warmer. When you go to Xingping make sure you take enough cash with you as there is no ATM that works with foreigner cards. The closest is Yangshuo, an easy 45ish minutes bus ride away. The buses are regular and easy to get from the bus station. The two times we showed up at the station, the bus left within five minutes. Read the hotels own website. It will give you some ideas of what to do in the area. It also gives instructions on how to get there at Map. We arrived at This Old Place Youth Hostel and they called Nirvana Organic Farm Inn who waited for us on the other side of the ferry with a big golf cart buggy. If we tried to walk there by ourselves I think we would have gotten lost. On Christmas eve the manager took us to a dumpling party which we really enjoyed. We discovered that there are many different ways to fold a dumpling. The view from our room was always changing depending on what the clouds were doing. It never got old. We stayed four nights here and we wished we stayed longer. There was more we would like to have done. Thank-you for having us in your beautiful part of the world.
