Hotel Cumbres Lastarria 

I have recently spent 2 weeks at this wonderful hotel whilst working in Chile. The hotel was fabulous from its great location in the heart of vibrant Lastarria, to its chilled and calm interior surroundings and warm, welcoming and friendly staff team. It always felt like an oasis of calm walking in from the vibrant street in front The reception staff are always friendly and super helpful, and the bar and breakfast staff, particularly Marcelo and Raul )although all were great and couldn't remember all names The rooms are quiet, clean with a really comfortable bed. Filtered water on tap all the time, a fridge, ample wardrobe space and a good powerful shower. Air conditioning units also. The breakfast buffet was excellent and refreshed when needed- fresh fruits, breads, yogurts, eggs (the omelettes they cook separately are gorgeous), bacon, sweet treats also. There is a lovely rooftop pool with beds, small enough to be cozy and big enough for a dip. There is a bar that has limited opening hours at weekend, but when open, plenty of choice and the staff are great. Meals in the bar are fine and there is al a carte choice in the restaurant which I didn't try as there are so many restaurants within 2 or 2 minutes walk. The metro is 5-10 mins walk away, the bus service 5 minutes also If I am fortunate enough to revisit Santiago I would certainly book here again - a lovely hotel
