86 reviewsThe hostal is a decent way from the bus stations and the town centre, but then this is a small town, so distances are never very large. The room was nice, and we shared a bathroom between 6. So the morning that 5 of us were doing the volcano hike, it was a bit tight, certainly as the toilet is in the bathroom. There is a large fridge in the kitchen that is regularly cleaned out by the staff. A decent kitchen and nice living area with table for eating (just 4 chairs, again a bit tight the morning we did the hike). There was plenty of hot water, and one is allowed to take showers (near reception) after checking out. The main thing going for this hostal while we were there (staff does change regularly, so depends a bit on luck) were the 2 staff members, both of whom knew what there was to do, how to get there and had lots of other useful information at hand, and very willing to share. On the negative side, the inner walls are very poor in sound isolation, so I could perfectly understand what the people next door were saying
