This is, by far, the best experience I had. The place is so beatiful, the food is delicious. The prices are more than fair. We booked the Jardinier room, we'll book it again next time; Sleeping with the window open listening to the river was magical.

A friend and I traveled from upstate NY to Quebec for 3 days of snowmobiling. We stayed at the wonderful Auberge des Glacis  Inn. It’s an old mill that was converted many years ago to an Inn. The current owner(s) have owned and run the Inn for 16 years.

While it’s a bit off a beaten path it is a jewel to put on your list to visit. It’s a family run Inn and they and the staff could not be friendlier and more accommodating. They really made us feel at home there.  Rooms are inviting, clean and comfortable. During one evening of our stay the family put on a singing musical show during dinner in preparation for their upcoming visit and gigs in France. Nicely done and thoroughly enjoyable!

Their French chef prepares wonderful four course dinners and their wine offerings are a good match.

Whether you’re snowmobiling, Nordic skiing, walking/hiking or just looking for a nice place to getaway break I highly recommend Auberge des Glacis.

Wonderful Auberge off the beaten path. Beautiful, quaint location next to a calming babbling brook and peaceful walking paths in the woods. 

Staff is incredibly warm and friendly. Room was comfortable and extremely clean.

The food was amazing. My family always said, the sign of a good chef is in the sauces.... and the sauces (along with everything else) was delectable!

This Inn, the whole region in fact, harkens back to a quieter, simpler time.  The Inn is surrounded by a park-like setting with forested walking trails and a babbling creek.  The region boasts the finest farmland (and resulting produce), beautiful river and mountain vistas and lovely towns and villages throughout populated with fantastic bistros, restaurants and micro-breweries.  Of course, no reason to leave the Inn as they have one of the finest dining experiences right on site, we stayed a week, dined there three nights and mornings and it was always excellent.  The host (Nancy) and her daughter (Audrey) and all their staff clearly love what they do and are superb at it!

Nestled at the foot of the hills this restaurant hôtel is a very relaxing place yet bustling with things to do should one wishes to do so. From a homemade treasure hunt to hiking trails one can find his perfect spot to bond with the element.  The restaurant offers gourmet cuisine upon reservation and a delicious morning buffet. 

The owner are exceptional and friendly and oh so accommodating. 
This place we call home every summer when it is time to pick up our kids from the famous summer camp -Camps trois saumons 10 km up the mountains.

My spouse and myself spent an evening and a night atthis fantastic auberge.

It is secluded but not far from the highway, and you cannot hear anything but the wind.  This is a very quiet place where one can really relax.

The room (Meunier) was perfect and well airconditionned during this heat wave (35 deg C).  The king bed perfect, and we heard nothing from the adjacent rooms.

The dinner is what make this place so special, bringing a true culinary experience to your table.  All staff were so happy to be there, and they made certain that you were always happy....from the entrance to the departure....

All in all, an experience that you must live if you are planning to be in that area.....do not discard it because it is not by the seaway, it is truly special !


A beautiful setting not too far from Quebec city. We visited with another couple and had a great stay. We were greeted by a welcoming staff and had a fabulous dinner where everything was prepared fresh and the breakfast the following day was just as wonderful. We look forward to our next opportunity to return to this family owned and family operated inn!

All details exceptional well thought of, from the atmosphere,service, grounds,room  and food. First class food. Savour all the local food exceptionally cooked in a 5 course service.  Service is friendly. Breakfast was a buffet with homemade jams,  bread croissants, cheeses , crepes, sausages ,quiche

We had a wonderful overnite with a beautiful evening meal and exceptional buffet breakfast. Nancy and all her staff were very friendly and helpful considering our French was limited. We enjoyed the trail walk and can only imagine how colorful the grounds are when the season is warmer.We would certainly plan to stay again,
