This was a very pleasant surprise.  The apartment is very cozy, spacious, clean and has everything you would want.Especially enjoyed walking through the property and enjoying the view from the balcony out towards the gardens.  Had a great walk to the canal and lift locks the next morning which was very picturesque!An added bonus is the great shopping you can do for plants/flowers and even unique gifts!  A great store that the owners run, one that you can spend a lot of time looking through and probably not see everything.

The hosts were amazing! Very friendly and welcoming. The place was ready for us with no hassles when we arrived. Clean, neat, and very clear instructions on how to navigate certain appliances with ease.

We always appreciate Margaret’s friendliness.  Having the balcony is an asset.

It was a small apartment in the upstairs of an old house. Very charming!  It had a small kitchen for making your own meals, as well as living room with comfy couch & chair and TV.  The bed was firm and very comfortable. The hostess was very friendly and easy to comunicate with.  Would be beautiful in the summer as it has a backyard garden! Host runs a garden store beside the house.  Lots of plants for purchase as well as garden ornaments.  A wonderful place to visit!

A really lovely little place! Delightful owner & fabulous greenhouse/garden art shop attached. Very handy for my purposes, very clean & lots of space for 1 or 2 people.

Excellent place to stay.  Margaret is very welcoming and made us feel at home.  The flat was very warm and cosey.  We were very happy we chose to stay here.  We would love to see the gardens in the summer.

The rental is attached to a flower shop and it looks like the back gardens would be spectacular in the warmer months. (We were there in January). It’s an older home but lots of care and thoughtfulness has went into making it a cozy retreat.

Property was comfortable, clean and cosy..perfect for us.

Love the quaint apartment with two bedrooms, living room, small kitchen, and one bathroom. Perfect size for 4 people. Breakfast items in the fridge to make. The gardens are beautiful to look at, it gives you a sense of tranquility. I highly recommend staying at Burley's Garden and suite. The owner received us with a warm welcome and great conversation about Peterborough and other places.

We loved the owner and staff they were so kind and accommodating. They even drive us to our wedding and offered to come get us if we couldn’t get a ride. The place is very cute and has everything. Bed very comfortable and left us a nice breakfast to make. Our only issue was a mustiness we could smell. My husband has breathing issues and he found it hard to sleep. Might just need a dehumidifier. Thanks again for providing a cute place to spend an evening 👍😊!!!

Interesting and odd set up. One lovely suite.  Lots of stairs getting in; if you are older it’s a bit daunting. Breakfast food was left in a serve yourself format in the suite. Kind of rationed but sufficient.  Never had that before in a B&B but it worked. The nursery grounds were fun to walk and the shop is very charming.

What an extraordinary place.  Margaret's zeal and hard work have created the most comfortable, enchanting and serene environment.  As we already had lunch plans, we were unable to eat the full breakfast that she had provided.  We would not hesitate to stay here again, given the opportunity.  Many thanks.Wayne Cottrell
