We moved across the country in a U-Haul and stayed here for one night along the way. This was the best hotel we stayed in. We were trying to pick cost-effective places, so we were getting less than desirable hotels, but this one was above average and we were quite happy.The hotel seemed very clean. We got a pet-friendly room with a king size bed that I found super comfy (the cats did too!)You can park right outside of your door on the ground level and access your car from the door to your room. We were in a U-Haul that had been broken into a couple nights before at a different hotel, so the receptionist kindly checked the security cameras and told us where we should park for the best view of the U-Haul on their cameras. This was really reassuring for us, and we were happy she was willing to help.Breakfast was great. We love the classic bagels, cereal, waffles etc, so it was perfect. The kitchen staff were efficient at cleaning the dishes and restocking.A few fast food restaurants and a dine-in restaurant in walking distance. Loved this convenience. Also loved the location. Not much around other than these restaurants. It was nice, and not sketchy!Overall, we really loved our night here and would certainly come back in the future. Our only dislike was the receptionist answered a personal facetime call while checking us in and was laughing and becoming distracted by the call instead of just focusing on us. It seemed unprofessional to us. Still very nice though!

Our kids hockey team stayed here for a tournament over the weekend. Honestly, it was by far the best hotel we have ever stayed at for a hockey tournament anywhere in Canada.
This hotel is just fantastic. Very clean. Staff are absolutely amazing. Front desk staff even bought candy for our children as a token of appreciation for us staying here. Morning breakfast was very good as well.
Just an absolute amazing experience. Can't say enough positive things. For sure a great hotel. I travelnfornwork and Niki wishing could stay at hotels like this everywhere I went.

Amazing hotel with exceptional service e

I really liked my 4 night stay. The room was nice, clean and comfortable. The staff were friendly and available. The free breakfast was better than what is offerred at most other hotels. Definitely a customer-oriented hotel. The only pain is having to log in to the internet every 24 hours rather than have it active for the entire stay, especially when it goes down in the middle of a business Teams meeting.

The kids loved the pool and waterslide, the staff was supremely friendly and helpful, and we had THREE queen beds! For a big family like us, that was just amazing. And having restaurants within walking distance when we're on a road trip made a big difference! We will absolutely be back! Thanks, Moosimin Canalta!

This is the first time in the Canalta Hotel chain, and were pleasantly surprised with the property.  Lobby, hallways and rooms are large and you don't feel constricted wherever you go.  The room was a standard layout but the real treat was the mattress they have.  It offers lots of softness yet is firm when it has to be.  It is a standard in Canalta and I look forward to the next sleep.  We have booked our next overnight in Provost at the Canalta there, because of the mattress.  
Service is pleasnt at the front desk and our breakfast was  served to us by the kitchen help due to covid restrictions in place at the time.  the number of tables was limited but we had no problem getting a quick bite and filling our coffee cups for the road.

Nice hotel with lots of room everywhere

I had the pleasure of staying at the Canalta for a getaway weekend with my wife. We stayed in one of the the Jacuzzi Suites which was immaculate. The cleanliness of the room and the hotel was very good. From the moment we walked until the moment we left, we were greet and helped by the very friendly General Manager. She was very accommodating to our needs and made sure we were taken care of. The pool and hot tub were amazing. I give this hotel a 10/10 and will definitely be back.

Weekend Getaway

And again ..this is our stopover for the night....we have stayed here for 8 years twice a year and it is my far the Best place to stay..rooms are spotless..it's quiet..the staff are Relentless in making sure your stay is comfortable....has breakfast in morning which far surpasses other motels we stay at on our journey from Newfoundland to British Columbia...we have a pet friendly room...lots of amenities right next door.... definately worth the stop....thanks, goes to General Manager ...

Check in and check out staff was awesome. Very friendly and went over and above for us with a disability veteran. Free pulled pork was an awesome supper and the breakfast was very good. Staff for breakfast was in her phone the whole time (lady with Russian type accent) but regardless it was awesome. Very expensive but nice.

Nice place

Canalta Hotel saved us from being outside.  Our car broke down and they provided much need extention on our room.  The hospitality of the staff and the understanding of our predicament made this otherwise cold lonely 5 hrs.  Bradley Chevrolet helped to get our car in running order.  They are just a stone throw from the hotel which was a blessing. 
We thank both of them on helping this stranded senior couple to proceed on our way.

Without their generosity it would have been terrible 

Great stay. Just one hiccup with booking a 2nd night right after check in. Took front desk staff over 30 mins to get it sorted out while I stood waiting.
