This B&B is located in St Luc which is a few kilometers from Matane. It is located in a semi-rural area and sits off the street amidst a group of shade trees. The house is well over a century old and the upstairs floor creaks and growns as one walks on it. There are 2 rooms on the ground floor with a shared bathroom. However, the bathroom is across the common area (kitchen, dining room, living room) on the opposite side. There are 4 rooms upstairs, 3 on one side of the hallway and one on the opposite side. There are 2 bathrooms available for these rooms. One bathroom has a shower and lavatory only while the other one has a toilet, lavatory, & bathtub with no shower. The downstairs rooms are larger than those upstairs. Upstairs, there is a door at the end of the hallway which leads to a balcony ourtside. Breakfast is from 7:30 until 9:00, however, if the place happens to be full or near full, one is liable to eat breakfast later than expected because there are only 6 settings at the table. Breakfast varies, but is very tasty. While we were there, it consisted of pancakes, french toast, fresh fruit, coffee, and juice. The owners are very congenial and outgoing and helpful with information and offer brochures pertaining to the area. There is plenty of parking area outside and the place is equipped with wifi. As of the posting of this review, the price is $67, including tax, for 2 people.
