Very clean rooms, no rug other than at entry, in a residential area so you can feel safe

Clean easy check in..Was disappointed that the advertised breakfast was not available. Only available peak season.

The owners are very nice & the room and bathroom were very clean. There was a nice continental breakfast provided each morning. I would definitely recommend this motel if you are taking the ferry from Bar Harbor, ME to Yarmouth Nova Scotia. It is only minutes away from where the ferry docks, & there are several good places to eat close by.

Seven minutes to dining and the ferries. Very clean room. Very nice owners. The included breakfast was plenty and very nicely presented.

This family run motel is lovely! You can feel the care they put in to make everyone have a good stay. All of the staff we came across were friendly and helpful. The room was very clean and well take care of. The kids loved the chair cover fabric! It was handy to have the microwave and fridge. They were even able to accommodate our celiac diets for continental breakfast too!

Staff went above and beyond. Was on a long trip and very tired. I got messed up with our directions and the motel staff assisted us. Then when we pulled in he greeted us in the parking lot with our key. Let us know he prepared the room and turned the AC on. The next morning he even brought some shammy towels over to us so we could dry our motorcycle seats off from the rain the night before. Great experience, highly recommend.

Excellent value. Only 10 mins drive from Yarmouth Ferry. Lovely couple took over management about a year ago, and they are upgrading everything. Our queen bdrm was spacious, super clean, new bath/shower, new towels. Streaming available. Quiet surroundings, and didn’t hear neighboring rooms. Slept in so missed  complimentary breakfast.

I cannot say enough good things about our stay at this hotel.The owners went above and beyond to help us with our stay. MaryAnn is such a beautiful caring business woman.I will definitely recommend the Voyager to anyone who is looking to stay in Yarmouth overnight.We miss you all.You stay here a night or two and you make a new family.

A must place to stay

Was very impressed with the hospitality of the owner and friendliness of staff. Room was well appointed, clean and updated with newer bed, furniture and washroom facilities. For the price I was very please to stay here and will do so again the next time I am in Yarmouth. It is only a short 5min drive from the town and located in the country you get that down-home country charm! Highly recommend!!

Wonderful place to stay

We stayed at this motel for the first time last night and we will definitely stay there again. This is an older style motel with a parking spot in front of every room which makes it so much easier to lug stuff in and there are chairs in front of the rooms so you can sit outside and enjoy the weather.  The motel is well run, well maintained and squeaky clean with air conditioners so cold  it will make your teeth chatter if that's what your into. They serve a free continental breakfast which a perfect start to our day. Our room had a small fridge and a microwave. The motel is located minutes from downtown Yarmouth, restaurants and shopping. It was also extremely quit with not slamming doors like you get in closed in hotels. The motel is also pet friendly. A perfect place to stay for the budget minded.

Next time we will stay 2 nights.

I booked this motel the day I was traveling and got a great price. From the outside, it looks like an older motel, nothing special. When I opened the door, however, I was very pleasantly surprised to find a very up to date renovated room with plush carpet, beautiful bed with very comfortable mattress, sofa, coffee table, large flat screen TV, microwave and fridge! The room was clean and very comfortable. 
Also, they offer a "continental breakfast". That turned out to be juice, coffee or tea, muffins, Danish, yogurt, and fresh fruit!
The service was excellent and I will definitely return if I am ever in the area again. It was a wonderful place to stay.

What a great surprise!

We were met with a friendly welcome and enjoyed a most comfortable night in a clean spacious room with top quality linen and the comfiest extra-length bed with the BEST pillows, we slept like babies!  Breakfast was more than sufficient, with excellent coffee and the most delicious muffins.  We plan a return visit whilst visiting the south shore of Nova Scotia!  Thank you Mary-Ann.


From the friendly welcome, to the comfiest of beds..

We stayed here for two nights on our winter road trip with our huge dog. The room was clean, however it is a bit out of date. But it is perfect for vintage lovers. :) The city is close, but the area is quiet and perfect for two nights. The owner is a really lovely lady, we liked her. She is very helpful.
