Kind, helpful staff. Lovely local art. A treat in the midst of a long distance journey!

We were pleasantly surprised when we arrived at the property. From the photos online, we were expecting much less than what was actually offered.  Although dated, it was clean, comfortable and maintained very well. It had everything we needed, ie mini fridge, microwave, coffee maker, hair dryer, ice machine, comfortable bed, etc. The major bonus was having a restaurant on the property. The food was SPECTACULAR! My husband had bbq prime ribs and I had Roasted Beet and Chicken Salad, which was the best salad I've every had! My husband felt the same about his ribs! A special shout out to our server "Ria" who made our experience very enjoyable.  A lovely, happy, energetic personality which was made for a very nice evening out.

Very clean room. Great restaurant!The bathroom could use a grab bar to get in and out of the tub.

Interior walls all in pine was nice.  Bery old fecor and setup.  Clean.  Fairly quiey.  Cheap.

We stayed for 4 nights during snowy December days. The rooms are comfortable and cozy with pine walls and newer carpet. The bathroom is not new but it's definitely clean. Tv works well. Fridge and micro provided. The on site restaurant is maybe the best place in town for dining, although it's not open for breakfast. The bed was comfortable to get to sleep fast, but maybe it wss sagging in the middle because I woke with sore back.

I booked through the Expedia app and paid $659 for two standard rooms for two weekend nights. My friend booked direct a few weeks ago and paid $610 for the same. They always accommodate our late night check ins which is great, and the rooms are clean. Could use an update but for the price you can’t go wrong. The restaurant is good as well- it’s no Keg but it’s convenient and good for a hotel restaurant.

The staff were incredible. The facility is basic and dated but clean, convenient, quiet and wonderful staff, Book directly to save money. We reserved at the restaurant ahead of time. The menu offers a variety of food. It was tasty and enjoyable. The mushroom caps was a wonderful appetizer. The service was fast. After a day of travel and exploring this was an easy stop. Book on the main level if you aren’t comfortable with stairs to the second level. Not a great view but convenient.

Location  good, , frt desk person and check were good, restaurant food and waitress were very good. The not so good was condition of room starting with the door from the outside parking lot to the room #7 stuck si bad had to body slam to get in , then greeted with a large stain in carpet right in frt of first bed not a good first impression.  The rest of room seemed ok fairly clean everything worked, beds comfortable,   towels seemed  clean but grey and dinge looking.

It is a nice place, worthy of the value payable. The only problem during my stay was that my room was located on the ground floor, facing the parking lot, and the back door was not closing enough, It happened one night that it was very windy, and the door opened in the middle of the night.The Staff are very nice and helpful people. I forgot to return my room's key and they did not charge me for it.

The room was great! It fit our pack and play for our baby, it was warm, comfy couch. Bed was comfy (a little “crinkly”, it made noise when you moved), we slept great! Clean! The staff went out of their way for us when we had to arrive late and it meant a lot - especially travelling with a baby. Would definitely stay here again!

Were on a motorcycle trip and arrived early.  Check-in went well.  We were able to be on the ground floor.  Internet was down at the time - not their fault.  (Back online the next day.)  Room is well laid-out.  Love the pine paneling and wildlife artwork.  Bed was comfy.  Food at the restaurant was very good.  We ate there both nights.  Staff were very nice.  Would stay here again in a heartbeat.

One of the Best

I've stayed here a couple of times now for work and as motels go, it's quite good. I recommend the deluxe rooms ON THE SECOND FLOOR. They are quieter, and apparently more recently renovated, compared to the ones on the ground floor. Rooms on the side of the building (as you might expect) are quieter than those facing the road. Also, the deluxe rooms facing the road on the ground floor may once have been smoking rooms in the past, because they didn't quite smell right. Great staff and a decent restaurant.

When booking I added a note requesting that scented cleaners and room deodorizer not be used -- that stuff gives me a migraine, and I would end up sleeping in the car, which defeats the purpose of renting a room. Front desk staff were aware of the issue, but housekeeping didn't take it seriously, so I walked into a room flooded in room deodorizer. 

The friendly and professional woman at the front desk understood the problem, and was able to find me another room that didn't smell. She saved the day. 

The motel is older, but it is clean and comfortable, and the room was spacious.

This is a good place for a stopover, or for a longer stay, but if you have a problem with scent, call the the day before you arrive to remind them.
