The cabin WE were in,#2, was very very  small and poorly equipped. The price  which was nowhere posted was $ 162 + and was outrageous considering this cabin.
I do not recommend this cabin and can not comment on the rest of this motel

Not again

The motel has been redone and the room is simple but new.  Nice little table to  eat your breakfast Bathroom is new as well, plenty of towels.  But I found it too expensive for what we got:$194 for a simple room, no breakfast, no toiletries other than soap.
Best is the location: steps away from a fantastic bike path and nice parks.  You might want to try the cabins, which are at the back, as the roadside rooms can get noisy…lots of traffic.

Nice, but overpriced

We thought we’d try out this motel.
Lady was very welcoming to us.  We went into the first room & noticed right away that the heat wasn’t working & no way to turn it up.  Also a yucky spot on the top of the bedspread. 😣
So we asked for a new room.  Moved next door & it was better. 
We checked the coffee maker & there was one small scoop of coffee in the filter.  That would have been one nasty pot of coffee.  Luckily we had some of own with us. 
Rooms need to be spotless. Needs some fresh paint here & there. 
Although it’s on a busy road when we checked in late afternoon. It got quiet for the night!

Could be so much more

If I could have left and gotten my money back I would have not even stayed the one night I booked. Filthy and tiny and overpriced sums it up. Save your money and stay anywhere else, it can’t be worse.

Worst motel ever

Clean,tidy rooms,nice bathroom facilities.A nice spot,lots of restaurants nearby,especially Josie's,just down the road. Friendly people. Several rooms and cottages to choose from and super nice owners.

Just overnight

I stopped here en route from Nova Scotia to Montreal, just needed an economical place to stay over night. It's easy to find, right off the highway. As other reviews note, the room was extremely clean and the bathroom seemed brand new. A good deal of care has gone into maintaining this place. The woman who checked me in was warm and friendly. The only problem was that the heating unit, located on the wall right above the bed, was loud. I had so much difficulty falling asleep that I finally turned the unit off. It was freezing cold when I woke up in the morning of course (I actually had a good sleep in the cold). It took some time to heat up once I turned the heat back on. I would only stay here again if there a way to make the heating unit quieter. Maybe I just couldn't figure it out? There were no written instructions in the room for the heating unit.

Problem with the heating unit noise

This motel has rooms and cabins. The cabins have a little water view and are located in the back. The staff were very helpful. The facilities has all you need, including a fridge and microwave. In our room the bed was very hard and uncomfortable, which was too bad. Everything else was great.

A charming place to stay away from the city.

We needed to stop overnight to break the drive. I was a little hesitant to stay out of town beside a highway but I was pleasantly surprised, very clean with all the things you need to make your stay easy. Bathroom was like brand new.

Simple & Clean

It's a nice, clean little motel. The owner is nice and courteous. The room is good size with bath and shower. Air conditioning, hair dryer. The place is quiet. The bed is comfortable. The air conditioning is noisy. But it's an expensive can for the place.

Nice place to stay the night on the road. Reception open 24 hours a day. $80 a night. Room service: fridge, microwave, TV, wifi, hair dryer.
