The service is excellent. Attentive but not overbearing. The room is small but very comfortable. I only paid $20 a night which - for the location - is absurdly cheap. Breakfast delivered to the door whenever you want it, taxi arranged to the airport and smiles all the way. I love it here.

Loved it here! Tuk tuk service whenever needed! Helpful lovely doorman there with umbrella when it rains! The front desk speak great English and make sure you get a good deal on all rides! 
Room is clean and comfy and really good for the price! Best bed I have slept in and with scapular winging I normally wake up Witt dead arms but here was the best sleep! 
Shower is hot!- which isn't always the case travelling Asia! 

Air con also there!

Great place on a budget away from the drunken brothels! 

It was just an ok hotel, not fancy and not to shabby.The area is really good thou, with lots of nice restaurants and the riverside close by.

The staff were very friendly. To be a fairly new hotel the walls and cleanliness is not up to par. The bathroom was very dengy. The bed was conformable. The air conditioner was strong and chilled the room quickly, but it did turn off in the middle of the night. If you know Phnom Penh is location is not bad, but if you not it hotel might be hard to find and not easy to access quality restaurants.

Friendly helpful staff- from doorman to desk! Most comfortable bed in 3 months!

Great time

Just ok

We had a nice large room with a little balcony, the air con and TV were good and wifi was okay as well. The staff, including the doorman, were really nice and the Tuk Tuk driver deserves special mention as he is really nice, quoted good prices and speaks very good English!

On the downside, the room was not cleaned unless we specifically asked for it given how hot Phnom Penh can get and bins need to be emptied daily. The location was fine but you couldn't really walk anywhere unless you have time.

We booked this via booking.com and, interestingly enough, they call themselves there Vichheka Hira hotel, probably after the new owner. However, no one in the city knows this name and only after asking for st 288 hotel did people know what we were talking about. There was also no restaurant I.e. no breakfast.

The price was good but we stayed often in cheaper and better places which also served good breakfast.

How do I begin? This is not even the name of the hotel. It is called st288 hotel and apartments, you cant find Vichekka Hira anywere. The room was small, but this is not a problem. Shower is literally in the toilette. I stayed for 4 days, 3 nights and on all those days it wasnt cleaned, not even the trash was picked. fridge with mould. Full of dust everywhere. Broken objects. Far from everything. Not a friendly place to stay and not a friendly place to walk alone on the streets. I hate to give bad reviews but I just couldnt let it pass.

Neverthelss, the bed was super confortable, the receptionists were super helpful, cheap, good internet

Not a good Hotel

I stayed here twice with my family. I paid for 4 adults and the reservation said GUARANTEED, but when we arrived they gave us 2 twin beds and said 2 people were expected to fit on each bed! 😤 The WiFi ONLY works in the reception area and not in any of the rooms. There are cockroaches, fleas, live, and ants in the rooms. The toilet is IN the shower which gets everything wet. The sheets were dirty and stained under the comforter and the towels were given to us damp and wrinkly and clearly not washed. Also, don’t book this hotel online. It is twice as expensive as if you were to go in person and book a room. I personally wouldn’t recommend this hotel to anyone.

Not worth it. The ad is very deceiving.

Our room was small and basic, and wasn't cleaned once during our stay. We were handed coffee sachets but when we arrived at the room there was no kettle? The place seems to be miles away from everything in Phnom Penh, we were constantly walking everywhere (bar the Genocide Museum which is about 400 metres away). On top of those things, what really left a sour taste with me was the fact that my bag was snatched and all my money gone. It resulted in me painfully falling on my head too. The hotel key was in the bag. The hotel showed no sympathy as the next morning when we were checking out the front desk assistant tells me "you have lost the key so now you must pay $5". Now I don't know about your country, but in Ireland, if you explained this situation to the front desk, they would absolutely NEVER ask you to pay to replace the key. I studied tourism hospitality and I know this for a fact. I am literally fuming. Customer service at its worst. Avoid this place!
