Golden Tour Eiffel Guesthouse

Mr Sna organised a car and driver to transport me to Kampot, as a single traveller felt far more comfortable in solo car the week of 8/10 for a few days. Both drivers, there and back were excellent, drive was very smooth with no incidents of any kind. Can only highly recommend.

Driver and Car to Kampot

It's a pity I didn't take any photos. I wouldn't advice anyone to stay here. The rate is 18 USD a night, no breakfast, no beverages, no complimentry water, no shower soap, no face soap, has a damp smell, has 40 year old TV, no satelite channels, the buttons on remote for the TV and air-con was bitten off, the AC works but doesn't cool the room well. It's a very spacious room, with a large kitted out kitchen with a fridge, large shower and toilet together. Friendly staff and excellent location. 

Not Golden all! 

I have been staying here on and off​ for the last 8 years. This is the worst I have ever seen it.

The aircon didn't work, the fan didn't work and there was no drinking water or hot water.

There is major construction work going on at the rear of the building which impacts on the amenity of the rooms that overlook it.

And this might be the reason why the place is being run down.
